This pretty ceramic orchid pot has a floral cut out design and a wonderful copper gold flake color. It has a shape with curved quadrants at the top and ribs that run down the length of the piece.

These tall ceramic orchid pots are larger versions of our beautiful small 3" ceramic orchid pots. Perfect for Paphs and other deeper rooted plants, they are each made with the same exquisite glazes and colors as their little brothers and sisters. Owning pairs of a large and small are great because they just look perfect together.

The design provides for maximum aeration and light and includes feet that suspend the pot above the matching attached drip tray. Each ceramic orchid pot is unique and color varies from piece to piece, and will be a wonderful addition to your display.

Approximately 7 1/2 inches tall and 4-5 inches wide, these are truly works of art and are mostly glazed inside as well. Individually they are beautiful pieces that each come with felt pads on the base to protect surfaces. The Chocolate Cream Square has the smallest diameter of these pots at 3.5 inches wide.

These pots are sold without liners and like all of our ceramic pots, it is fine to plant directly in the pot. If you prefer the versatility of a liner, as we do, there are a few options that work well with these tall ceramics.

Our favorite use for these tall pots is to hold a 4" orchid up high in the background of a display. This is accomplished by placing a 3" plastic pot upside down in the tall ceramic pot first and then placing the orchid on top of that pot. This approach is shown in the picture of the Encyclia orchid here.

There are two pots we have that fit down in it these pots nicely, but they aren't as tall as the pot. Both the 4" slotted clear and the 4" rigid fluted clear fit down in there and you can either push them all the way to the bottom or they start to get caught a bit part way down. If you want to keep the liner higher up and fixed, put the 4" pot inside on top of the 3" pot that is upside down. The 4.25" Crystal Clear Orchid Pot and the 4.25" Oxygen Core Dual Pot fit down into these pots leaving the rolled rim just above the ceramic.
