Shipping FAQ

Q: When will my package arrive?

A: Orders placed before 3pm typically ship the same day. When your package arrives depends on your location and the carrier. Normally we will ship your package by FedEx because we believe they will get you your package the safest, fastest, and at the best price. FedEx also provides Saturday home deliveries which we use. We track every package we ship until it is delivered and have learned that in many instances ground shipping results in next day deliveries for those customers in and near the Mid-Atlantic region. At our option we may ship by an alternative carrier if we believe that will result in faster, more efficient delivery. The shipping fee paid when an order is placed will be the final cost regardless. Q: Do you offer local pickup?

A: Yes. We are an internet only business and do not have a retail shop. We do, however, offer local pickup for our customers who are local to us in Maryland (zip code 20878). Place your order on the website and at checkout choose "local pickup" as the shipping option. We will then coordinate a pick up date/time with you via email. Orders placed on weekdays can usually be picked up the next day or if placed early sometimes on the same day.


Q: What is the difference between Ground or Home delivery?

A: Both ship by FedEx. Home delivery is for residential, ground delivery is for business locations. Home delivery also includes Saturdays.


Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes. Shipping for international orders must be custom quoted by contacting us directly at Customer Service or 301-315-2344. We will need to know the items you wish to order and your full shipping address.


Q: What if I live outside the Continental U.S. but in a U.S. State or Protectorate?

A: We recognize that these locations may be dramatically less expensively served by shipping via USPS. We are willing to ship by USPS to these areas on an exception basis. Please contact us directly at Customer Service or 301-315-2344 to make these arrangements.


Q: How are shipping rates calculated?

A: Shipping rates are based on weight and package dimensions and are automatically calculated in real time by our shopping cart based upon your zip code for your convenience. Our shipping charges reflect the cost to ship with tracking numbers and include our cost to box and pack, then the carrier charge for truck and fuel etc. Typically as you add more products to an order the shipping cost will not significantly increase.

RePotme absorbs routine extra fees when they occur and the charge for shipping quoted in the shopping cart is the charge you will pay regardless.


Q: What if my address is a P.0. Box?

A: All commercial carriers require a physical shipping address and none will ship to a P.O. Box. Please provide a physical address in the shopping cart.
