Inorganic Classic Orchid Mix is made with:

Dendrobium Basics:

Blooms: Winter
Water:Water thoroughly then allow to dry out briefly between waterings. Deciduous: Give minimal water during winter dry rest.
Light:Bright light
Temperature:Warm growing, minimum temp of 60 degrees, maximum of 95
Fertilize:FEED ME! Weakly, weekly
Increase amount by 50% from May-September
Growth Habit: Sympodial, grows new pseudobulbs every year. Evergreen: Bloom spikes emerge from new pseudobulbs at the top, usually in late fall or early winter. Old pseudobulbs will bloom again as well as continue to support the plant until old and shriveled. Decidiuous: Bloom spikes emerge from along the pseudobulbs in late winter after a dry rest. Old pseudobulbs will not bloom again but will continue to support the plant until old and shriveled.
Look for:Evergreen: New pseudobulbs in the Spring and Summer, Spikes in the Fall, Blooms in the Winter . Deciduous: New pseudobulbs in the Spring and Summer, Rest in the Fall/Winter, Spikes following rest. Bloom in the Spring.

Tribe Podochilaeae
Natural Cues:Dendrobiums take their bloom cues primarily from the drop in temperature that comes with the Fall.
Repotting: Dendrobium should be repotted every two years, sooner if they are trying to grow outside of their pot.
