| Growth Habit: | Sympodial, grows new pseudobulbs every year. Evergreen: Bloom spikes emerge from new pseudobulbs at the top, usually in late fall or early winter. Old pseudobulbs will bloom again as well as continue to support the plant until old and shriveled. Decidiuous: Bloom spikes emerge from along the pseudobulbs in late winter after a dry rest. Old pseudobulbs will not bloom again but will continue to support the plant until old and shriveled. |
