We have been on the lookout for a real chunky peat for a very long time. Not your ordinary peat mind you, but the kind you read about from time to time and always wonder where in the world the author gets this magical stuff from. How many times have you read an article with great ideas and then been left wondering how and where to get what was suggested?

Well, for those of you who have had that dilemma with chunky peat the mystery is solved. We finally found it and we arranged to have it packaged and delivered to us. It is spectacular stuff. There are real chunks that do not just turn to dust when squeezed.

It is Estonian Peat and has chunks from 6 - 20 MM in size. It is imported from half way around the world, and that is how far we had to look to find it. If you are not familiar with that part of the globe, Estonia is in Eastern Europe, south of Finland and west of Russia. This is not your ordinary peat found in North America.
