Two Step Pest Treatment

We are often asked about how to get rid of Scale and also Mealy Bugs which can be a real headache for growers of orchids. Both of these bugs do damage to the plant and both are notoriously hard to beat. Our Natural Two Step Treatment is the answer many have been searching for.

The Two Step Treatment works because it puts two effective natural tools in your hands to combat these troublesome critters (and any others hanging around). You get the proven power of our famous GET OFF ME! Natural Bug Spray (see Testimonials) with the unique 360 degree spray bottle for reaching under leaves, AND you get our Natural WASH ME! spray kit for physically cleaning leaves and surfaces to remove insects, eggs, residue, salts, sticky substances, grime and water marks. These two together will positively remove unwanted critters and whatever they leave behind.

We recommend treating with GET OFF ME! first, and letting the plant be with that treatment for 24 hours. Try to avoid spraying flowers directly. Next, you will spray leaves and surfaces with WASH ME! paying attention to undersides of leaves, nooks and crannies, stems, stalks, spikes and anywhere tiny critters can be lurking. Each plant must be cleaned with paper towels or cloth/cotton balls/Q-Tips that are thrown out after use on a particular plant. This is best practice to avoid any contamination between plants.

I contacted rePotme about a serious Fungus Gnat problem. They suggested I use Mosquito Bits, Get Off Me Bug Spray (because we have a dog with serious allergies) Yellow Sticky Traps and Mosquito Dunks. They warned me that it would take a while to resolve this problem and that I might have to repot my plants.

Within oh about a month and a half, NO Fungus Gnats! And I didn't have to repot. They told me that I can reduce my use of Mosquito Dunks to once a month for maintenance, though I will probably continue to use the Get Off Me Bug Spray which has a pleasant cinnamon odor.
