African Violet Classic Potting Mix by rePotme potting mix is a free draining blend of coir, sponge rock, and vermiculite. This soil-less mix is ideal for african violets. African violets thrive with frequent repotting, every six months to one year.
We make this mix with Coir which is ground coconut husk. Many commercially available african violet mixes are made with peat moss. This coir based mix has no peat and the coir we use is resistant to fungus (and gnats), and is a wonderful free draining mix for prized houseplants and tropicals.
