Redwood bark is used for its ability to lower pH in a mix and as such it is often used in potting mixes for Cymbidium orchids. We also carry a larger chunky size of 1/2 to 1 inch. Sustainably harvested Small Chopped Redwood is fibrous, open, fluffy and more resistant to decay than fir bark.
